Asia ready for the NEXXT big thing in sailing - Hong Kong takes on the 29erXX
Hong Kong sailors John and Ivy have stepped up their game, bringing the first 29erXX rig to their country.
They have been sailing the 29er for 6 years, attending their first 29er World Championship in the 2005 San Francisco event.
"We love responsive sailing," say John and Ivy who enjoy other fast-paced sports like snowboarding. When it comes to sailing they are "speed freaks" who love to get out, get wet and go fast.
Any advice to up and coming sailors?
"To get more speed and response, the 29erXX is the only way out."
